Bookng Procedures
Retreats can be booked by post, telephone or via our website. We
are unable to take fax bookings. Upon payment of a deposit all
bookings are confirmed by post/email. If possible please send the
full cost of the retreat at the time of booking.
Deposits Group Retreats £70
Weekend Retreats 2/3 Nights Full Payment on booking
Young People’s Retreat and Dana Retreat £25
Work Retreat £50
Personal Retreat £70 for each week – maximum is £140
New Year’s Retreat Full Payment on booking
Deposits for work retreats are refunded at the end of the retreat less £10 administration charge provided that the work retreat has been completed satisfactorily.
For all bookings please provide your full name and address,
telephone number, email address, age, gender (for room allocation
purposes) and any medical condition we need to know about.
Full payment for all retreats is required four weeks before the
beginning of the retreat.
CANCELLATION FEES
Cancellation of any retreat including work retreats will incur a £40
cancellation fee.
Cancellation of a retreat 15 – 29 days prior to the commencement
of the retreat will incur a £70 cancellation fee.
Cancellation of a retreat 14 days or less before the commencement
of the retreat will incur loss of the full payment unless the place
can be filled. If the place can be filled a cancellation fee of £70
will be incurred but the balance refunded.
All cancellation fees are placed in the Retreatant Support Fund.
BOOKINGS BY POST
Cheques are made payable to "Gaia House Trust" in British Pounds Sterling only. Please write the retreat code, which is found next to the retreat name in this programme, on the top border of the cheque. In the case of money being sent from abroad, please use a credit card with the amount indicated in Pounds Sterling (£). If this facility is not available to you please contact us for details on how to make an international bank transfer. Unfortunately we cannot accept foreign bank notes. We can accept full payment and deposits for group and personal retreats using Solo/Maestro/Visa Debit cards. With MasterCard/Visa Credit Cards we can accept full payment for group retreats and deposits for personal retreats but not deposits for group retreats. Our telephone office hours are 9.30 - 11.30 AM (Monday - Saturday) 3 - 4 PM (Mondays) and 4.30 - 5.30 PM (Wednesdays). If the line is engaged please leave a message and we will return your call within 24 hours. When making a booking please have your credit/debit card details available.
BOOKING ONLINE
We can accept full payment and deposits for group and personal retreats using Solo/Maestro/Visa Debit cards. Please complete the booking form together with your credit card particulars. After we have received your booking and payment we will email a confirmation letter.
