Emptiness (shunyata) is the “crown jewel” and the most radical of the Buddha’s teachings. It is the cultivation of insight into these profound and subtle teachings of emptiness and dependent origination that brings the deepest peace and fullest liberation of the being, changing the very way we see the world, and transforming the heart in joy and compassion.
Providing extensive support and guidance through comprehensive unfolding instructions, Dharma talks, private teacher interviews, guided meditations and Q&A sessions, this retreat will explore in detail progressive stages and approaches to the contemplation of emptiness, supporting practitioners to develop the actual meditative tools for a deepening realisation of the emptiness of all things.
This retreat is not suitable for beginners. Please note there will be a number of sitting meditation periods everyday not led by a teacher. You will need to complete an RAF, and teacher approval will be required to sit this retreat. Please also note that registration is for the full four weeks: partial registration is not possible.
